Marion Milner

Marion Milner was born in London in 1900. Graduating in Psychology and Physiology from London University, she worked in Industrial Psychology and then spent two years in the United States on a Rockerfeller fellowship. After this, she conducted research into girls day schools in England, her book The Human Problem in Schools coming from this. She then trained as a psychoanalyst at the British Psychoanalytic Society, starting private practice in 1943.
